Japanese government has been trying so hard to restart the Ooi nuke plant in Fukui recently.
The shore of Wakasa Bay in Fukui is called a "Nuke Ginza," with 14 nuke-related plants.

Yesterday, the head of METI, Edano, has visited the Governor of Fukui, Nishikawa, asking for the restart, only after a day he has commented that the country should avoid relying on nukes.
Increasing pressure for the local community seem to be massive.
Some friends drove to Ooi for the ongoing protest.
For my part, I sow summer veg seeds, water apple shoots and strawberries, and write this blog.
I believe we can and should phase out nuke power, and we've got abundant alternative natural and human energy.
If Ooi plant is not restarted, from May 5 with the halt of Tomari plant in Hokkaido, Japan will experience nuke free period due to the check ups on all nuke plants.

I'd love to discover innovative ways to survive the heat of summer, with less nuke, less abuse.
I'll be back.
